PUBLIC HOUSING REVIEWED
Congressman Dan Meuser is calling for tighter oversight of public housing agencies following a year-long House investigation. It recommends more frequent inspections, stronger monitoring of employees and contractors, better digital recordkeeping and tougher qualifications for housing authority leaders. Meuser says the changes would improve living conditions and protect taxpayer dollars.
